Description

Volunteers will be spraying and deadheading Oxeye daisy that has taken over a meadow near the Webb Lake Cabin. Used as an ornamental plant, when it escapes into the forest, this non-native has devastating effects on native plants and animal forage. This will be the third year that BMWF volunteers put a hurting on this Daisy patch. Volunteers will use the cabin for cooking and storage, but camp out under the stars. This trip is limited to 4 volunteers!
The BMWF provides a skilled crew leader, food, group gear, tools and safety equiptment. For more information on volunteering with the BMWF & FAQ visit https://www.bmwf.org/learn-more-about-volunteering
